Highly anticipated update as I've been waiting for the real life driving feel (human like). Engaged FSD for my morning commute and would say it did well for the 13.8 miles that is mostly highway through the city with many exits and on ramps. It seemed conservative going across the bridge. The challenge was crossing 2 lanes to take an exit .4 miles to the right. It is a critical execution even for me. The nagging as most have said is not as much. It did notify me to keep my eyes on the road.

This version is the best I've experienced. It handles complex traffic situations impressively, with smooth acceleration, and accurate lane keeping. The only disengagements I needed were due to routing issues. Tesla's GPS seems outdated, occasionally suggesting incorrect turns or missing road updates. Despite this, the core functionality is outstanding. With an improved navigation system, it could be nearly perfect.

It no longer routinely gets itself into the wrong lane in advance of shortly needing to make a turn from the other lane. When run out of room and boxed into a wrong forced turn, it turns back into the correct lane with blinker on but forcing others to allow it. It now slows for most speed bumps. Lane wobble is gone and phantom breaking long gone, but correct lane choice remains its most significant problem.

FSD 12.5 works really well...obvious improvements...especially the vision based attention monitoring....

12.5 downloaded early this morning (2024-07-25). Took it to Cape Coral FL and back from Babcock Ranch. Zero interventions and very very clean and smooth. Fifty-two miles total.

Feels a lot more smooth. Less hesitation. Lane changes seem appropriate. Car feels confident overall. Speed is not too fast or too slow. Starting to feel like an autonomous vehicle.

It's working pretty well, the speed is sometimes a little slow. Will sometimes fall a bit far back from the car in front.
