FSD 12.5.4 is a mixed bag relative to 12.3.6, with a regression or two. Turns involved very jerky and startling corrections, over/understeering. With dumb summon, 2023 MYLR pulled into my garage but inconsistently. Sometimes pulled in 1' from the back wall, sometimes 2-3' short. Also, MYLR remembers garage door even after it's lifted; MYLR refuses to go further. The only Smart Summon improvement would be the ability to target a particular parking space to send it. "Come to me" is pretty cool.

Much better for sure! My only issue is when the light turns green it takes off (chill mode too!). It should wait two seconds or so because where I live people run red lights constantly. Staging also needs to be improved. I was in heavy traffic and in the outside lane. The car waited too long to change lanes for an upcoming exit and it got extremely confused. I had to intervene. Speed control is still trash.

FSD 12.5.4 did great on a 2k road trip. Far from perfect but I was very glad to have the feature.

The last update (12.4.x) was nice. Except for not being able to take our hands off. The hands off probably made the software engineers more cautious. In FSD, a tree shade is enough to cause sudden harsh braking. It got so bad, that I had to switch off FSD and now I am just using Autopilot. Can I request the software engineers please keep the same level of auto speed properties in FSD. We the drivers are still focused on the road. Thanks.

Coming from 12.3.6, smoothness is greatly improved and construction is handled more confidently. Speed control continues to be a sore spot. Phantom braking from shadows on clear roads, One instance with green lights where it feathered the brake pedal approaching one. A new situation where when using FSD it will experience a critical error and the system will abort. happens at the exact same location and is repeatable.

This version of FSD is smoother, but still requires the same quantity of interventions.

On a left turn it still likes to pull out in front of traffic stop! Better just let us decide when to move on a non-4way left. Sunglasses driving works great, very few nags. Driving into the sun is safer now, it will disable fsd instead of slamming the brakes in the middle of the highway for no reason. Maintains speed better than the last version.
